Job Description:
Your primary responsibility will be to support our brand and help get the word out about the great work we’re doing. You’ll be helping sales, supporting clients, managing our social media and a myriad of other marketing tasks. Your job will be to establish meaningful relationships with our clients, partners and team members and to educate them on the benefits of working with Spongecell. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in working in a startup environment and/or the advertising agency world. The Marketing Manager will be reporting to the CEO.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience in a startup environment and/or advertising related company
- Bachelors degree required, MBA a plus
- Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail
- A passion to be in a startup environment that is growing rapidly
- The desire to take on a lot (we’re serious when we say a lot) of different tasks
- The want to be a part of a great team of people all working towards the same goal
- The ability to manage both people and fast-paced timelines
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to breakdown technical product information into exciting marketing collateral
- Great people skills since you will be interacting with clients and team members on a daily basis in a very public role
- A decent understanding of the online media landscape, current trends, and key players within the space
